Brussels, 03 July 2020 – Drive Sustainability is pleased to welcome Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as a new partner of the initiative, joining the group of 10 leading automotive manufacturers, working together to improve social and environmental performance across the automotive value chain.

The new member joins Drive Sustainability at crucial time: under Covid-19, where sustainability is challenged by supply chain disruptions, Drive Sustainability continues driving for impact and launched its long-term strategy. Drive Sustainability is the leading initiative in the transformation towards a more circular and sustainable automotive value chain and will address key sustainability challenges with an ambitious roadmap . The group aims to achieve this by leveraging a common voice and engaging with suppliers, stakeholders and related sectors on standard setting, compliance and capacity building.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will be joining Drive Sustainability supplier assessments and trainings, projects on responsible sourcing of raw materials and joins as well the development and implementation of new activities under the scope of the Drive Sustainability long-term strategy.
