RESOURCING TOMORROW 2024
December 3 – 5, 2024, London
In 2024, Drive Sustainability and Resourcing Tomorrow will collaborate to bring auto manufacturing and mining companies together and discuss access to critical minerals and responsible sourcing.
About Resourcing Tomorrow 2024
Resourcing Tomorrow runs over 3 days, including keynote presentations, a large expo hall, opportunities for one-to-one meetings with other companies, networking, private meetings, and multiple theatres discussing the key industry topics including Decarbonisation, The Energy Transition, Critical Minerals, Technology Innovation and Supply Chains.
Over 2,000 delegates from 98 countries attended our 2023 edition. Now in its 20th year, it is Europe’s longest running and most successful mining event.
With critical mineral supply chains becoming increasingly important, the mining industry realises that it must actively engage with the downstream. This could be to search for potential offtake partners, but also to learn about their sustainability requirements and ensure that they have the ability and processes in place to meet these requirements.
This year, Resourcing Tomorrow and Drive Sustainability are joining efforts to foster dialogue and collaboration between automotive manufacturers and upstream companies. By attending Europe’s leading mining event, Drive Sustainability members will have the opportunity to:
– Hear from over 300 industry speakers from the likes of Vale, Anglo American and BHP as well an exhibition which has 170 mining companies in attendance, many of which are exploring, developing and producing battery metals, rare earths and other critical minerals. 20 Governments will be present at the event with representatives last year from United States, Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Yukon and British Columbia), Australia, Chad, Nigeria, South Sudan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.
– Have full access to all the networking functions from 3 to 5 December.

Drive Sustainability’s Side Session
4 December | 9 – 11AM GMT
Drive Sustainability will host a session on the EU Batteries Regulation, exploring how to advance harmonisation in responsible sourcing practices and increase value chain collaboration for tangible improvement on the ground.
With the adoption of the EU Batteries regulation, there are heightened expectations for companies to intensify their due diligence efforts to ensure adherence to ESG standards across the entire supply chain encompassing Cobalt, Lithium, Nickel, and Graphite.
Bringing together downstream and upstream companies and various stakeholders, the session aims to:
- 1. Outline the due diligence requirements of the EU Batteries Regulation and their impact on downstream and upstream companies’ due diligence processes and the efforts from sustainability initiatives to harmonise requirements and promote local impact in raw materials producing countries
- 2. Provide a platform for sharing respective sectorial objectives and challenges, defining pathways for value chain collaboration
