“At Honda, through our efforts to actively promote sustainable initiatives at our development and manufacturing facilities in cooperation with all our suppliers around the world, we are seeking to be a company that society wants to exist. We aim to be a company that is liked by and has strong roots in local communities, and to realize a supply chain where we can co-exist with and provide mutual benefit for us and those local communities.”

On the topic of Honda joining the working group, Stefan Crets, Executive Director of CSR Europe and facilitator of the European Automotive Working Group on Supply Chain Sustainability said “Sustainable positive impact in the supply chain can only be reached by joining forces.
